Our process

We offer appliance repair services for homeowners in the Bay Area Monday through Saturday, 9am – 9pm. You can book your appointment by using our service request form.

What to expect

Booking an appointment:

  1. To save our customers money, we don’t employ a dedicated receptionist — so our customers typically book appliance repair appointments using our service request form.
  2. When you book an appointment using our web site, we’ll respond within a couple of hours to confirm your appointment and to provide a 2-hour service window.
  3. If you book with us after hours, we’ll give you a call in the morning on the next day that we’re open.
  4. If you have any questions you’d like answered before booking an appointment, don’t hesitate to use our contact form!

On the day of service:

  1. On the day of service, we’ll give you a call before heading your way.
  2. We’ll make all accommodations to ensure we leave your home as clean it was when we arrived.
  3. Before GSAR’s technician begins working, we’ll provide a detailed repair estimate.
  4. The work begins. We handle many common issues on a daily basis, so many repairs will be completed in less than 30 minutes. Other repairs may be more involved.
  5. We’ll clean up our work space before we leave. If we spot any unrelated issues, we’ll do our best to offer suggestions to prevent future appliance failures.

Policies: our pricing is simple, transparent, and affordable. All appliance repairs we perform are covered by a comprehensive 90-day parts & labor warranty.

Service area: our service area includes the southern portion of East Bay, South Bay, and parts of the Peninsula, from Newark looping around to Menlo Park.

Hours of operation: we answer phones and run service calls Monday through Saturday, 9am – 9pm. We also offer emergency service.
